Iceland felt like stepping into another world. From the moment we landed at Keflavik Airport and drove into Reykjavik’s colorful streets, the island pulled us into its wild beauty. Every day was a new chapter—waterfalls, black‑sand beaches, glaciers, fjords, and tiny coastal towns that looked like they belonged in storybooks.

Our journey began on the Golden Circle, where Bruarfoss glowed blue like a hidden gem and Strokkur erupted right in front of us. The next morning, we chased waterfalls along the South Coast—Seljalandsfoss, Skógafoss, Kvernufoss—each one louder, taller, and more magical than the last. Reynisfjara’s black sand felt unreal, like walking on another planet.

Then came the glaciers. At Jökulsárlón, icebergs drifted silently across the lagoon, while Diamond Beach sparkled under the sun. In the Eastfjords, quiet fishing villages welcomed us with calm harbors and mountain views that stretched forever.

North Iceland surprised us the most. Dettifoss thundered, Mývatn steamed with geothermal energy, and Húsavík promised whales just beyond the shore. By the time we reached the Westfjords, Iceland felt endless—Dynjandi’s cascading layers, the peaceful town of Þingeyri, and the iconic Kirkjufell rising like a perfect pyramid.
